（中央社台北10日電）中華民國駐厄瓜多代表處於當地時間7日晚間在厄京基多瑞士（Swissotel）飯店舉辦建國104年國慶酒會，計有厄國各界友人及僑胞300餘人出席祝賀，場面歡欣熱烈。
代表處特別邀請曾受邀到台灣參加遠朋國建班的哥倫比亞籍女高音古茲曼（Patricia Guzman）獻唱兩國國歌，歌聲動人，贏得滿場喝采。
代表處精心於現場擺設中華民國與厄瓜多兩國國旗、中華民國國情照片及各類文宣海報，宣傳台灣各項進步情形，吸引賓客駐足觀賞及拍照留念。
駐厄國代表謝妙宏致詞時特別引用各項國際評比數據向與會貴賓說明台灣政經發展傲人成就，以及兩岸關係和平發展及交流現況。
謝妙宏也介紹「活路外交」成果及厄台雙邊交流與合作現況，同時播映代表處自行編輯的年度重要活動回顧短片及「友善國際、和平傳愛」國慶影音光碟，與會嘉賓印象深刻，對駐處在厄工作及中華民國進步實況表示高度肯定與讚賞。
謝妙宏還邀請旅厄新任僑務顧問高李時燕共同切國慶蛋糕，與在場嘉賓一同祝賀中華民國104歲生日快樂，場面歡欣熱烈。1041010
