朱立倫強調，太陽能發電隨技術成熟，未來成本將會降低，綠能是台灣對世界的責任，政府或高耗能企業都要去推展。他並說，政府須就火力、天然氣或其他發電方式評估出最適模式，並推動電業自由化。
